The "Web Links & QR Codes" function allows you to share your survey via a direct link, or use it on stationary tablets and computers, enabling guests to submit their feedback while on-site. Additionally, QR codes can be used to gather feedback from guests in real-time, either during their stay or upon checkout.
Feedback collected through Web Links and QR Codes will be registered as "Web/QR Code replies" in Loopon. To view this feedback and analyze the statistics, you need to enable the option under Data Sources. You’ll then be able to see either the results from Web/QR Code feedback exclusively, or the combined results with email and Web/QR Code responses.
Web Links Explained
Web Links allow you to distribute guest surveys via a single link or use them on stationary devices, like tablets and computers, to capture on-site feedback. Web Links are initially anonymous since they are not tied to any registered or checked-out guest. They can be answered multiple times, making them ideal for scenarios like conference feedback or displaying the NPS question on a tablet terminal.
Below is a list of available link types, each with a corresponding QR code that guests can scan to access the survey:
-
NPS Terminal: Use this link to ask guests "The Ultimate Question" (How likely are you to recommend us?). Responses are anonymous and not linked to any specific department.
-
Generic iPad Survey: This link gathers comprehensive feedback about the guest’s entire stay. The first page will prompt for language selection, followed by room number and name (only if your PMS sends this information). This survey is optimized for iPad users.
-
E-Mail Collection Terminal: This link allows guests to provide their contact details, after which Loopon will send them a survey via email.
-
Generic Public Survey: This link is used for your standard Post-Stay survey, sent automatically via email. It collects general feedback about the guest’s stay, and answers are anonymous unless the guest provides their contact information.
-
Conference Participants: This link is designed for collecting feedback specifically from conference attendees. It only includes questions relevant to the conference experience and remains anonymous unless the guest provides contact details.
-
In-Stay Room Survey: This link directs guests to a mobile-optimized survey suitable for gathering feedback during their stay. It can be placed in hotel rooms.
How to Use the Links: Simply highlight the relevant link by dragging your cursor or clicking it three times. Then press "Copy" or use Ctrl/Cmd + C to copy the link.
QR Codes
QR codes offer a fast and convenient method for collecting feedback. You can print these codes and place them strategically throughout your property. For example, use QR codes for conference feedback or to collect restaurant-specific responses. Many smartphones today have built-in QR code readers, making it easy for guests to access the survey with just a scan.
