The Online Reputation Index (ORI) is displayed in the Reputation vs. Compset section on the Reputation tab. It compares your hotel's Reputation Score to the average Reputation Score of your competitive set.
Understanding the Graph
The graph may display one or two lines:
-
The blue line represents your ORI.
-
A black line (if present) represents the Revenue Generated Index (RGI).
RGI is only displayed if your hotel has opted in by signing an additional agreement for Loopon to collect Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) data. The ORI vs. RGI graph helps connect guest satisfaction with revenue performance.
What ORI & RGI Mean
Revenue Generated Index (RGI) compares your hotel's RevPAR to the average RevPAR of your comp set:
-
RGI = 1 → Your RevPAR is equal to the comp set average.
-
RGI > 1 → Your RevPAR is higher than the comp set average.
-
RGI < 1 → Your RevPAR is lower than the comp set average.
Online Reputation Index (ORI) compares your Reputation Score to the average Reputation Score of your comp set:
-
ORI = 1 → Your Reputation Score matches the comp set average.
-
ORI > 1 → Your Reputation Score is higher than the comp set average.
-
ORI < 1 → Your Reputation Score is lower than the comp set average.
By analyzing these two indices together, you can assess how guest satisfaction correlates with revenue performance, helping you refine both operational strategies and pricing models.
