This page shows an example of how you can use the Search Filters to group data. This is very useful when you want to compare results for two or more groups on the Reports tab as it gives you a very clear overview. Below, we will show you an example of how to set up two groups to compare NPS for weekend guests vs. weekday guests.
- Choose the report you wish to see the results for. Make sure to have correct Dats Sources ticked.
- Set up a search for Weekend groups by doing the following:
- Scroll down an click on Add Group.
- In the popup window scroll down to Guest checkout day and deselect Monday till Friday.
- Click OK
- In the popup Editing Name that appears, name the search: Weekend Guests. Click OK.
- This creates a new group: the new group is assigned a unique color (green in the example below), and a table with results for the group has been added to the report you're looking at.
.
To create yet another search group ( for Weekday guests) complete the steps again:
- Scroll down an click on Add Group.
- In the popup window scroll down to Guest checkout day and deselect Saturday and Sunday.
- Click OK.
- In the popup Editing Name that appears, name the search: Weekday Guests. Click OK.
You now have three comparison groups. The first one in blue (with the hotels name) showing the results for the report without any filters on days at all. The results in that table is for all guests. Then you have the group called Weekend Guests and Weekday Guests. By comparing the two later ones you can easily see which guests has the highest NPS score. Check out the downloaded version of the report attached below.
You can easily create groups based on other filters as well. Instead of choosing Weekday checkout day, you can scroll down to Add Questionnaire Filter and choose a specific question and create groups based on answer alternatives for a certains questions.
