Activity measures the percentage of checked out rooms that the hotel collected email addresses to. Results are shown for your hotel and your hotel chain. A high activity is important in order to obtain as many answers as possible from your guests.
Note: You can find more detailed information about the Activity Score and how it's calculated here, and an explanation to red activity numbers further down on this page.
The different lines in the graph shows the following:
-
Checked Out is the total number of registered guests (obtained from the PMS).
- Note 1: The Checked Out value contains all guests registered with Loopon, no matter which source we got the information from. For example new TripAdvisor reviews also increase the value, as well as iPad terminal answers.
- Note 2: The Data Sources and Guest Types configuration affects all results in this report, including the Checked Out number.
- Note 3: Usually the PMS will only notify us about one guest per room, no matter how many guests actually stayed in the room.
- Sent is the number of sent e-mails (Plus answered reviews on external sites and iPad terminals, if included in data sources configuration).
- Bounced is the number of emails that did not reach the recipient, most likely due to an invalid e-mail address registered in the PMS.
- Opened is the number of opened questionnaires, which might have been answered or not.
- Answered is the number of answered questionnaires.
-
Handled is the number of received feedback that have been marked as handled by the hotel (where the issue status has been changed from Unread to Done or Discarded). Ideally this number should be equal to the number of Answered questionnaires.
Red Activity Numbers
If the activity score is lower then 20 percent for your hotel or any hotel in your hotel chain, that hotel will show up as red under the Home tab. If the same score goes under 15 percent the hotel will show up as dark red.
